Digital Soft Goods: Pouch
I have been using the Adobe Substance 3D suite to explore ways to develop various digital models and materials for soft goods. The models are created in Substance Modeler, 3DS Max, SolidWorks, etc., and Substance Painter is used to apply materials and details to them. The models are then rendered in Substance Stager.
This is a small pouch modeled in 3DS Max, with materials, textures, and details added in Substance Painter. Painter is excellent for creating materials and textures for digital models, but it is phenomenal for adding details such as seams, parting lines, stitching, embroidery, ‘wear and tear’, etc.
